HELP US HELP OTHERS through March 19, 2023 . . .

Presbyterian Women from First Presbyterian Church, Blairstown, NJ are collecting extra-long twin size sheets (like for college dorm beds) as well as colored wash cloths & bath towels for Veteran’s Haven North in Glen Gardner, NJ. Donations may be dropped off through March 19 at the church Sunday mornings or at the Outreach Center (Tue-Fri) at 35 Main Street next to the Post Office. New towels and bed sheets seem like so little to give for their service. Can you help? For this project, we have partnered with Blair Woman’s Club and with the Friends of Rachel, a student service organization at North Warren Regional School District, for this towel and bed sheet project. “Rachel’s Challenge” is a program based on the writings of Rachel Scott who was the first student killed at Columbine HS in 1999. She left a legacy of reaching out and helping others, acting to combat bullying and performing acts of kindness and compassion.

Please share this project with family members, friends, neighbors! Spread the word!

Thank you!
