Recap of 2025:

Presbyterian Women, also known as PW, is the women’s organization of the Presbyterian Church USA.  As such, we seek to be an inclusive and caring community of women that strengthens both the Presbyterian Church USA and our local congregation.  We strive to build strong relationships with each other and the larger community while  supporting one another on our personal faith journeys.

During 2025, we:

• Worked with membership to host a brunch recognizing recent graduates.
• Worked to make the Fish and Chips fundraising dinner a success by selling/buying tickets, baking desserts, and assembling dinners.
• Cleaned and organized the church balcony: Removed shag carpet, cleaned and polished pews, removed items that were no longer in use and creating clutter.
• Weeded Betsy’s garden and placed Kindness Rocks in the garden and around the church.
• Cleaned and organized the Church kitchen and former choir closet.
• Gathered in Fellowship for a Spring luncheon, a Fall Breakfast, and a Christmas luncheon.
• Hosted a presentation by church member Pete Peterson on H.O.P.E. (Help our Preservation Efforts).
• Hosted a presentation by church member Angelina Plut on her trip to Japan.
• Conducted a ‘Bakeless Bake Sale’ Fundraiser.
• Provided scholarships to three campers attending Camp Johnsonburg.
• Donated to PW of the Highlands, the Truck Stop Ministry, St. Jude’s Children Hospital, and the Seeing Eye.
